Interpretation Challenge : 'Breath' by Samuel Beckett

'Breath' a shortest play by Samuel Beckett Recently we have studied about 'Waiting for Godot', which is also written by Samuel Beckett. It is a absurd kind of play, or we can say theatre of the ansuab. It deals with theory of existentialism. His another play 'Breath' it also based on this theory.  Absurd means nothing and his play 'Breath' it has nothingness because it is just about thirty seconds, so it bit difficult to understand or interpret. The play has no characters, no plot and sense of nothingness.  #The script of the play:- CURTAIN  Up 1. Faint light on stage littered with miscellaneous rubbish. Hold about five seconds. 2. Faint brief cry and immediately inspiration and slow increase of light together reaching maximum - together in about ten seconds. Silence and hold for about five seconds. 3. Expiration and slow decrease of light together reaching minimum together (light as in 1) in about ten seconds and immediately cry

Pre - Thinking activity

Pre-thinkig activity related with Poe's short stories... 01. Recollect a moment of your life when you were at the height of ferocity (anger) on someone with/without some specific reason. What did you feel like speaking to or doing with that person? We can find many types of people but, some are unbelievable, they are unlikely to be true. In my surroundings I have found, somebody who knows how to convincing people, butter polishing to teachers, because they want to become famous and we can't tell them anything. We all are doing hardwork to become successful and some are chooses this way to get success.  This is the specific reason for my infuriation. 02. Have you ever felt tremendous drive to hit or murder someone? When? Why? How? Elucidate. Yes, I feel many times, when someone tells me that you have to do this or that. They are like to take decision of others life. They are not part of my life and though they are resist me to do for whatever I want to do. F

Virginia Woolf's To The Lighthouse

Thinking activity on 'To The Lighthouse' Virginia Woolf is known for the term stream of consciousness, in which mind is struggling with time. As she was struggling with the time. Steam of consciousness means time travels in the past and in the future but, but we are in the present. 1. How  can you explain that 'what' Virginia Woolf wanted to say (for example, the complexity of human relationship, the everyday battles that people are at in their relationship with near and dear ones, the struggle of a female artist against the values of middle/upper class society etc) can only be said in the way she has said?   Through the complex comp human relationships Virginia wanted to say that relationship needs support of trust. In the novel everyone wants that they are remembered by their dear ones, as Mrs. Ramsay wanted to be immortal with her art of cooking. In the novel she is chain between her children and father. According to her, spreading love is better than tell
