Talk with Author: Dr. Vishal Bhadani

On 1st January, department of English arranged one special workshop, talk with author and translation workshop. Translation needs very much hardwork and influency in the language. That he has, he told us for translation and we all have tried to translate something.


One collection of short stories 'Fictionaly', written by him. Which has great stories. He read his story in very amazing way. Which was very great experience to listen a story from the author. That story was highly fictional but very elegant. Love story and some elements of ghosts, so he taking us in the very deep fantastic world. He has great experience in translation, he told us that he is translating one Gujarati novel. Translation needs the vast area of vocabulary and literary sense. 

After recess he gave us an information about translation. And one worksheet for translating some sentences. Translation is really good work, through this we can know about other's culture language. So we are also tried about some translation. In the task, one phrase, sentence, paragraph, for translation. 



In the end of the session again he told one fantastic story. So, it was very nice experience to listen story from the author and get the information about translation. We are thankful to Dr. Dilip Barad sir arranged such useful workshop for translation. Which goes to help us in the future also.

Hindi play Digdarshak

August, 09 2017 The review of the play "Digdarshak"            I have been watched one hindi play "Ek Maulik Sarjak : Digdarshak" . which was arranged by film screening committee. Review of the play and presentation given by Alpa Pond, which was very well presented. It is written by Priyam Jani and directed by Rishit Jhaveri.               By  watching this play I have got two ideas Drama & film and cinema v/s theatre. The plot of the play is about cinema v/s theatre and great bond between directer and actor. actor wanted to become a successful actor and this how he uses the theatre to as a step of success. there is very nice message in this play that we have to keep balance between our personal life and professional life. and the directer doesn't make balance between personal life and professional life. directer was very punctual and he wanted that everyone should follow his rule but it is quit imposs...
