ELT - Interaction with Prof. J H Khan

Thinking activity On 16,17 and 18 August, department of English invited Prof. J. H. Khan. We had discussion on several topics. We were influenced from him. He said that "we keep on competing with ourselves." He also shared information about NET/SLET exams. #Main concepts discussed in class.... Dr. Khan taught us that how to articulated sounds in language and in language their is different parts of it. He also included what is general English and what is English for specific purposes, communication - it is a task to perform. Role of learners and teachers..

The activities makes us creative and more thinkable, we got different view point. In our class we have got the activity on, how learners should be and how teachers should be.  #Learner's role... To begin with, learners must have tack part in learning, they have to engaged actively in the learning. In the first stage they have to keep in mind that they have to learn seriously.  Learning process is not that much easy that we think, it needs the attention and our presence of mind is very much important.  learners should be prepared to study hard.  Interaction with teachers is more beneficial for them, because interaction is the best way to express our thoughts and opinions.  Activity on  'Design' by Robert Frost                                             The design signifies the beauty or plotting of something. Design can be artificial or natural. In this poem it is about the God is exists or not because imagery of spider indicates that the God may be good or evil. First of all there is imagination of white spider , who hiding itself in a white flower. One another character is moth which is also white, who is sticking between death and life. The body of moth is frozen to stuck by spider, moth represent as a prey of spider. Moth is the tragic figure of the poem, it shows the intensity of pain. Moth represent as a prey of spider.
