✦ “A Girl in the River” is the story of Saba Qaiser, whose father and uncle shot her in the face, stuffed her in a bag and tossed her in a river in rural Punjab province, after she ran away to marry the man she loved. Ms. Qaiser, 18 years old at the time, survived. Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy's won the oscar award. She publish a movie which in favour of women's rights. She won her first oscar.Her movie is showing to saving face which spotlit the horror of acid attack. Women in Pakistan face all kinds of gross violence and abuse at the hands of the male perpetuators family members and state agents, violence includes rape, domestic abuse as spousal murder, mutilation, burning.

✦ Writers like Arvind Adiga he wrote the novel about the darker side of India and his novel supplies a darkly humorous perspective of India’s class struggle in a globalised world. It is told through a retrospective narration from a village boy. We have many examples like Slumdog Millionaire. but, we can also say that writers has freedom of expression, they can write whatever they wants to. Sharmeen, she raise her voice against the male dominance. I am agree with the point and we have to accept the reality and change our self with appropriate situation.

Uncle Podger Hangs a Picture

The short story ‘Uncle Podge Hangs a Picture’ is full of comic incidents which is adopted from 'Three Men in a Boat' and written by Jerome K. Jerome. The story revolves around Uncle Podger, who tries to hangs a picture on wall, from that activity he makes readers laugh. He thinks himself to full of ability and skills, he can do any sort of job, but in reality he involves his family members to do such job. Uncle Podger assigns some work to all the family members and asks them to do it with maximum efficiency. He creates whole mess and he blames Aunt Maria to be responsible for creating the fuss. Uncle Podger is the kind of person who annoyed everyone around him. They all know his capabilities, even if he doesn’t. He may mean well, and he may mean to be helpful, but all he will do is to cause more problems.

August, 09 2017 The review of the play "Digdarshak" I have been watched one hindi play "Ek Maulik Sarjak : Digdarshak" . which was arranged by film screening committee. Review of the play and presentation given by Alpa Pond, which was very well presented. It is written by Priyam Jani and directed by Rishit Jhaveri. By watching this play I have got two ideas Drama & film and cinema v/s theatre. The plot of the play is about cinema v/s theatre and great bond between directer and actor. actor wanted to become a successful actor and this how he uses the theatre to as a step of success. there is very nice message in this play that we have to keep balance between our personal life and professional life. and the directer doesn't make balance between personal life and professional life. directer was very punctual and he wanted that everyone should follow his rule but it is quit imposs...
