Hindi play Digdarshak

August, 09 2017 The review of the play "Digdarshak"            I have been watched one hindi play "Ek Maulik Sarjak : Digdarshak" . which was arranged by film screening committee. Review of the play and presentation given by Alpa Pond, which was very well presented. It is written by Priyam Jani and directed by Rishit Jhaveri.               By  watching this play I have got two ideas Drama & film and cinema v/s theatre. The plot of the play is about cinema v/s theatre and great bond between directer and actor. actor wanted to become a successful actor and this how he uses the theatre to as a step of success. there is very nice message in this play that we have to keep balance between our personal life and professional life. and the directer doesn't make balance between personal life and professional life. directer was very punctual and he wanted that everyone should follow his rule but it is quit impossible for everyone.             In this pl

August 09, 2017 Doctor Faustus by Christopher Marlowe. Here I am going to discuss about these three questions: 1. the play directed by Matthew Dunster for glob theatre ends with this scene ( see the image of Lucifer ). what does it signify?   It signifies that Lucifer become more powerful because he taking away doctor faustus's soul. his wide wings signifies his victory on God. in the end he becomes more powerful so through his wide wings he shows his power and it shows that God fails and Lucifer wins. 2. Is God present in the play? if, yes where and how? If, no why? Yes, God is definitely present in the play, through an old man and good angle  Old man:  O gentle Faustus, leave this damned art, This magic, that will charm thy soul to hell, And quite bereave thee of salvation! Though thou hast now offended like a man, Do not persever in it like a devil: Yet, yet thou hast an amiable soul, If sin by custom grow not into nature; Then, Faustus,

Yesterday me, my classmates and my seniors all are go to  yashvantray natyagruh to watch this play. it was amazing and well performed.         "Yugpurush" it is written by Uttam Gada and first time performed in 2016 . It is Gujarati play about Shrimad Rajchandraji and Gandhiji. The play depicts the spiritual journey of Gandhiji from Mohandas to Mahatma . Yugpurush is very heart-touching play and it's shows us to bond between Rajchandraji and Gandhiji. Before watching this play I didn't know that Rajchandraji was inspiration for Gandhiji. There Was a flashback techniques to represent Mohandas . Rajchandraji was great personality who inspired our great hero Gandhiji. there is a great messages that if we are in problem, God always shows us right path.         So, it was such nice experience to show this play and it was my first live drama show which I hav
